Inyanga kaRajab inesikhundla esiqavile kukhalenda yamaSilamu. Yenye yezinyanga ezine u-Allah, oPhakeme Kakhulu, aziphawule njengezingcwele — izinyanga lapho ubungcwele bempilo nesisindo sezenzo kuphakanyiselwa ngaphezu kokujwayelekile. Kumkholwa ofisa ukuhamba aye eRamadan esesimweni sokulungela okungokomoya, uRajab uyisipho esibalulekile.
URajab: Enye Yezinyanga Ezingcwele
U-Allah umemezela eQuran:
"Ngempela, inani lezinyanga ku-Allah lingu-12 [lwenyanga] embhalweni ka-Allah [kusukela] ngosuku adala ngalo amazulu nomhlaba; kuzo, ezine zingcwele."
(Surah At-Tawbah, 9:36)
UMprofethi ﷺ wazikhomba ngegama lezi zinyanga ezine:
"Unyaka uyizinyanga eziyishumi nambili, ezine zazo zingcwele: izinyanga ezintathu ezilandelanayo — uDhul Qa'dah, uDhul Ḥijjah, noMuharram — [nenyanga ehlukile] uRajab, omi phakathi kukaJumada noSha'ban."

URajab uyingqayizivele phakathi kwezine ngokuma wodwa — ezinye ezintathu zakha uchungechunge olulandelanayo oluzungeze isikhathi seHajj. Ngenxa yalesi sizathu ngokomlando wawaziwa ngokuthi Rajab al-Fard — uRajab Owodwa. Wawubuye ubizwe ngokuthi Rajab al-Asamm, iNyanga Ethulile, ngoba umsindo wezinkemba wawuthula ngayo, njengoba ama-Arabhu asendulo ayeyeka zonke izimpi ngenxa yokuhlonipha isimo sayo esingcwele.
Isisindo Sezenzo Ezinyangeni Ezingcwele
Izazi zamaSilamu sekuyisikhathi eside zigcizelela ukuthi ngezinyanga ezingcwele, kokubili izenzo ezinhle nezono kuphethe isisindo esikhulu kunakwesinye isikhathi. U-Ibn Kathir (u-Allah makamhawukele) wabhala ku-Tafsir wakhe: "Ukona ngezinyanga ezingcwele kunzima kakhulu futhi kunesono esikhulu kunakwesinye isikhathi." Ngokuphambene, izenzo zokulunga — umthandazo, ukuzila, isadaka, nokucela intethelelo — zikhipha umvuzo omkhulu.
Leli qiniso elimbili libiza umkholwa esimweni sokuqaphela okukhulu: ukuqapha inhliziyo nezitho kulokho okungamjabulisi u-Allah, kuyilapho ekhulisa lokho okusondeza umuntu kuye.
Isango Eliya eRamadan
Phakathi kobuhlakani bukaRajab ukusondelana kwakhe noSha'ban, oholela ngqo eRamadan. Izazi zasendulo zachaza le ntuthuko enhle ngamazwi akhumbulekayo:
"URajab uyinyanga yokutshala, uSha'ban uyinyanga yokunisela, kanti uRamadan uyinyanga yokuvuna."
Noma ngubani otshala imikhuba emihle kuRajab — ukungaguquki emthandazweni, ukufunda iQuran, nokuzibamba esonweni — uyothola leyo mikhuba ijuliswa kuSha'ban futhi uyongena eRamadan enenhliziyo elungiselelwe esikhundleni senganakekelwe.
UMprofethi ﷺ wayenza umthandazo osuka enhliziyweni njengoba uRajab usondela:
"O Allah, sibusise kuRajab nakuSha'ban, futhi usivumele sifinyelele uRamadan."

Iqiniso lokuthi yena ﷺ wathandazela ukufinyelela uRamadan — sengathi uyindawo okufanele kuhanjwe kuyo — lisifundisa ukuthi izinyanga ezandulelayo akusona isikhathi esingenalutho. Ziyindlela yokundiza yomphefumulo.
URajab Nohambo Lwasebusuku Lwe-Al-Isra' wal-Mi'raj
Izazi eziningi zibamba ukuthi uhambo lwasebusuku olumangalisayo lukaMprofethi ﷺ — lapho athathwa khona eMasjid Engcwele eMakkah eyiswa eMasjid Ekude kunazo zonke eJerusalema, wabe esenyukela emazulwini efinyelela esikhundleni okungekho sidalwa esake sasifinyelela — lwenzeka ngenyanga kaRajab. Yize izazi zihlukene ngosuku oluqondile, lokhu kuhlotshaniswa kwenze uRajab inyanga yokuzindla okujulile ngenye yezehlakalo ezimangalisa kakhulu emlandweni wabaprofethi.
U-Allah uchaza lobo busuku obungcwele eQuran:
"Udumo malube koyedwa owathatha inceku yakhe ebusuku esuka eMasjid Engcwele eyisa eMasjid Ekude kunazo zonke, esiyibusisile indawo eyizungezile, ukuze simkhombise ezinye zezimpawu zethu. Ngempela, unguoZwa Konke, oBona Konke."
(Surah Al-Isra', 17:1)
I-Isra' wal-Mi'raj, enhliziyweni yayo, kwakuwumzuzu wokududuza kwaphezulu kuMprofethi ﷺ owayebhekane neminyaka yokulahlekelwa nokushushiswa. Kwakuyisikhumbuzo sokuthi u-Allah uphakamisa labo abaqinile. Emazulwini, uMprofethi ﷺ wamukela isipho semithandazo emihlanu yansuku zonke — eyanikezwa ngqo, ngaphandle komlamuli, njengomcebo woMmah wakhe kuze kube sekupheleni kwesikhathi.
Ungawuhlonipha Kanjani URajab
Yize zingekho imikhuba ethile emisiwe ekhethekile kuRajab ngaphandle komkhuba ojwayelekile wokulunga, isimo esingcwele senyanga simema umkholwa ukuba:
- Afune ukuphenduka ngobuqotho (Tawbah) — eqala inyanga ngeslate elihlanzekile, eyeka izono eziqhubekayo, ebuyela ku-Allah ngokuzimisela kweqiniso.
- Akhulise ukuzila ngokuzithandela — uMprofethi ﷺ wazila ngezinyanga ezingcwele, futhi uRajab uyithuba elihle lokumisa noma ukuvuselela lo mkhuba.
- Asho umthandazo kaRajab — ecela kaningi u-Allah ukuba abusise izinyanga ezisele futhi anike amandla okufinyelela uRamadan.
- Akhulise i-dhikr nokufundwa kweQuran — akhe kancane kancane imikhuba eyozonda uRamadan onokukhonza.
- Anikele ngesadaka — ikakhulukazi ezindabeni ezinenzuzo eqhubekayo, njengokweseka imfundo yamaSilamu noma imiphakathi eswele.
Umbundu Ongcwele
URajab akuyona inyanga okufanele idlule ngokunganaki. Ungumbundu ongcwele — isimemo saphezulu sokulungisa kabusha ubudlelwane bomuntu no-Allah ngaphambi kwezikhathi ezibusisiwe ezilandelayo. Umkholwa ovuka ekubalulekeni kwawo akalindi ukuba uRamadan uqale; uqala uhambo lwakhe olungokomoya manje, ethemba ukuthi noma yini etshalwe kuRajab iyothi, ngesihe sika-Allah, ithele izithelo ekuvuneni kukaRamadan.
Sengathi u-Allah angasibusisa kuRajab nakuSha'ban, futhi asivumele sifinyelele uRamadan sisesimweni esingcono kunazo zonke — ngezinhliziyo eziphilile, izono ezithethelelwe, nokuzinikela okuvuselelwe.
