Inyanga kaRajab iphethe isikhundla esibalaseleyo ekhalendeni yamaSilamsi. Yenye yeenyanga ezine uAllah, oPhakamileyo, azimisele njengezingcwele — iinyanga apho ubungcwele bobomi nobunzima bezenzo buphakanyiswa ngaphezu kokuqhelekileyo. Kwikholwa elinqwenela ukuhamba lisinga kuRamadan kwimeko yokulunga ngokomoya, uRajab sisipho esixabiseke ngokungathethekiyo.
URajab: Enye Yeenyanga Ezingcwele
UAllah uthi kwiQuran:
"Inene, inani leenyanga ku-Allah lilishumi elinesibini [leenyanga zenyanga] kwincwadi ka-Allah [ukususela] kwimini awadala ngayo amazulu nomhlaba; kuzo, ezine zingcwele."
(Surah At-Tawbah, 9:36)
UMprofeti ﷺ wachonga ezi nyanga zine ngamagama:
"Unyaka uziinyanga ezilishumi elinesibini, ezine zazo zingcwele: iinyanga ezintathu ezilandelelanayo — uDhul Qa'dah, uDhul Ḥijjah, noMuharram — kunye [nenyanga eyodwa] uRajab, omi phakathi kukaJumada noSha'ban."

URajab wahlukile phakathi kwezine ngokuma yedwa — ezinye ezintathu zenza ulandelelwano oluqhubekayo olujikeleze ixesha leHajj. Ngenxa yesi sizathu wayesaziwa ngokwembali njenge-Rajab al-Fard — uRajab Oyedwa. Wayekwabizwa nge-Rajab al-Asamm, iNyanga Ethuleyo, kuba isandi samakrele sasithula ngayo, njengoko ama-Arabhu amandulo ayeyeka yonke imfazwe ngenxa yembeko yesikhundla sayo esingcwele.
Ubunzima Bezenzo Kwiinyanga Ezingcwele
Izifundiswa ze-Islam kudala zigxininisa ukuba ngeenyanga ezingcwele, zombini izenzo ezilungileyo nezono zithwala ubunzima obungaphezulu kunamanye amaxesha. UIbn Kathir (wanga uAllah angaba nenceba kuye) wabhala kwi-Tafsir yakhe: "Ubugwenxa ngeenyanga ezingcwele bunzima ngakumbi kwaye buyisono ngakumbi kunamanye amaxesha." Ngokuchaseneyo, izenzo zobulungisa — umthandazo, ukuzila, isisa, nokucela uxolo — zizuza umvuzo omkhulu.
Le nyaniso mbini ibiza ikholwa kwimeko ephakamileyo yokuqaphela: ukulinda intliziyo namalungu koko kungamkholisiyo uAllah, ngelixa liyandisa koko kusondezayo umntu kuYe.
Isango Elisinga KuRamadan
Phakathi kobulumko bukaRajab kukukufuphi kwakhe kuSha'ban, okhokelela ngokuthe ngqo kuRamadan. Izifundiswa zamandulo zachaza olu qhubeko luhle ngentetho ekhumbulekayo:
"URajab yinyanga yokuhlwayela, uSha'ban yinyanga yokunkcenkceshela, kwaye uRamadan yinyanga yokuvuna."
Nabani na otyala izimilo ezilungileyo kuRajab — ukuzinza emthandazweni, ukucengcelezwa kweQuran, nokuzibamba esonweni — uya kuzifumana ezo zimilo zinzulu ngakumbi kuSha'ban aze angene kuRamadan ngentliziyo elungiselelweyo endaweni yebekelwe bucala.
UMprofeti ﷺ wayeye enze umthandazo ovela entliziyweni njengoko uRajab wawusondela:
"Owu Allah, sisikelele kuRajab noSha'ban, uze usivumele sifikelele kuRamadan."

Yona kanye into yokuba wathandaza ﷺ ukuba afikelele kuRamadan — ngathi yindawo ekufuneka kuhanjwe kusiya kuyo — isifundisa ukuba iinyanga ezandulelayo azisilo xesha lililize. Ziyindlela yokundizisa umphefumlo.
URajab Nohambo Lobusuku lwe-Al-Isra' wal-Mi'raj
Izifundiswa ezininzi zibamba ukuba uhambo lobusuku olumangalisayo loMprofeti ﷺ — xa wathatyathwa kwiMasjid Engcwele eMakkah wasiwa kwiMasjid Ekwelakude eJerusalem, waza wenyukela ngamazulu ukuya kwisikhundla ekwakungekho sidalwa sakhe safikelela kuso — lwenzeka ngenyanga kaRajab. Nangona izifundiswa zohlukene ngomhla ochanekileyo, olu nxulumano lwenze uRajab yinyanga yokucamngca okunzulu ngesinye sezona zenzeko zizodwa kwimbali yobuprofeti.
UAllah uchaza obo busuku bungcwele kwiQuran:
"Uzuko malube kolowo wathabatha isicaka saKhe ebusuku esisusa kwiMasjid Engcwele esisa kwiMasjid Ekwelakude, ekungqongileyo kwayo esikusikelele, ukumbonisa iimpawu zethu. Inene, Yena ngoVayo Konke, oBona Konke."
(Surah Al-Isra', 17:1)
I-Isra' wal-Mi'raj yayilixesha, ngaphakathi, lokuthuthuzelwa kukaThixo kuMprofeti ﷺ owayenyamezele iminyaka yelahleko nentshutshiso. Yayisisikhumbuzo sokuba uAllah uyabaphakamisa abo bazimaseka. Emazulwini, uMprofeti ﷺ wafumana isipho semithandazo emihlanu yemihla ngemihla — enikwa ngokuthe ngqo, ngaphandle komlamli, njengobutyebi be-Ummah yakhe kude kube sekupheleni kwexesha.
Indlela Yokuhlonipha URajab
Nangona kungekho misebenzi ethile emiselweyo ekaRajab kuphela ngaphandle kwesenzo esilungileyo esiqhelekileyo, ubungcwele bale nyanga bumema ikholwa ukuba:
- Lifune inguquko enyanisekileyo (Tawbah) — liqale inyanga ngesicwangciso esicocekileyo, lishiye izono eziqhubekayo, lize libuyele ku-Allah ngenzondelelo yokwenene.
- Liyandise ukuzila okuzithandelayo — uMprofeti ﷺ wazila ngeenyanga ezingcwele, kwaye uRajab lithuba elihle lokumisela okanye ukuhlaziya eso senzo.
- Licengceleze umthandazo kaRajab — licela rhoqo ku-Allah ukuba asikelele iinyanga eziseleyo aze anike ukwazi ukufikelela kuRamadan.
- Liyandise i-dhikr nokucengcelezwa kweQuran — likhula ngokuthe ngcembe izimilo eziya kuxhasa uRamadan onqulayo.
- Linike ngesisa — ngokukodwa kwizinto ezinengenelo eqhubekayo, njengokuxhasa imfundo yamaSilamsi okanye uluntu oluswelayo.
Umnyango Ongcwele
URajab asiyonyanga yokudlulwa ngokungakhathali. Ngumnyango ongcwele — isimemo sikaThixo sokuhlela kabusha ubudlelwane bomntu no-Allah phambi kwamaxesha asikelelweyo alandelayo. Ikholwa elivukayo ekubalulekeni kwakhe alilindi ukuba uRamadan uqale; liqala uhambo lwalo lokomoya ngoku, likholelwa ukuba nantoni na ehlwayelwe kuRajab iya kuthi, ngenceba ka-Allah, ithwale isiqhamo ekuvuneni kukaRamadan.
Wanga uAllah angasisikelela kuRajab noSha'ban, aze asivumele sifikelele kuRamadan kweyona meko intle — ngeentliziyo eziphilileyo, izono ezixolelweyo, nokuzinikela okuhlaziyiweyo.
